American forward Jarret Lukin evened the game when he took the puck top shelf on Wayne Savage at the 8:38 mark.

In the end of the period Matt Pierce took a costly tripping penalty where Allen was able to convert with the man advantage with ten ticks remaining on the power play.

After a scoreless second period, the home team came out ready beginning with Lukin’s second goal of the contest. Thirty-seven seconds later the Americans were able to strike again against an unsettled Savage to take the 4-1 lead.

Brahmas rookie Tyler Allen cut the deficit in half, but it wasn’t enough as the Brahmas came short 4-2.
