Jordan Cameron returns to the Texas Brahmas

Leading point scorer from last season re-signs after leaving Germany

Jordan Cameron has re-signed with the Texas Brahmas and will see action on the ice soon. Cameron, 26, had been playing in Germany for the EC Hannover Indians but returned to Canada recently for personal reasons. Head coach Dan Wildfong advised The Texas Brahmas Insider last weekend that Cameron would be returning to the Brahmas and that the team would be making the announcement soon once immigration issues are squared away.

"It's great to have Cameron back with us. We definitely have high expectations for him this year given the type of player he is." said Wildfong

The 6’ 4”, 218 pound right wing from Drayton Valley, Alberta was the Brahmas’ leading scorer during the 2007-08 campaign with 64 points (30G, 34 A) and 65 penalty minutes during the regular season. During the playoff run, Cameron played in all 14 games scoring 13 points (3 G, 10 A) and serving 21 penalty minutes.

Cameron was a fan favorite and the Brahmas faithful are happy to hear of his return, which was confirmed today when his name appeared on the roster on Pointstreak.com.
