The Texas Brahmas will host the Odessa Jackalopes at the NYTEX Sports Centre for a pre-season preview of one of the new rivalries in the Southern Conference . The teams will play each other six times this year.
The Jackalopes were 32-25-7 last season with 71 points. They visited NYTEX twice last season, falling to the Brahmas both times. Odessa has had a very busy off-season, re-signing eight players and signing 12 new players.
Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong is looking forward to the 2008-09 campaign.
"It's been a long and productive off season, but we are ready to take the ice again. It's time to pack NYTEX once again for another great year," said Wildfong.
All tickets for the October 11th preseason game will be $10. The game will start at 7:05pm.
