Former Cornell blueliner Jared Seminoff to join playoff run
The Texas Brahmas announced today the signing of defenseman Jared Seminoff to an amateur tryout for the 2009 playoffs.
Seminoff, 23, comes from Cornell University (NCAA) where he spent four seasons accumulating 34 points (4 G, 31 A) in 130 games played.
The 5'11, 190 pound blueliner played three seasons in Juniors with the Notre Dame Hounds and Nanaimo Clippers. In his rookie season with the Hounds in 2002-03, the Nelson, British Columbia native was named to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) Rookie Team.
The Texas Brahmas and Seminoff will face the Odessa Jackalopes tonight in Game One of the Southern Conference Finals at the NYTEX Sports Centre.
