More changes...

Lucyk, Cook latest to go

The ever-changing Brahmas roster took two more hits today as defenseman Luke Lucyk and forward Matt Cook were waived on Monday.

Lucyk failed to impress in nine games with four shots, 12 penalty minutes and two beat downs to his credit. Cook came and went almost without my noticing him. He managed just two shots and six penalty minutes during his two game run.

Granted, these two were fillers until Fonger could find what the team needs.

Rumour has it (hell, it's all over the message boards and being openly discussed at NYTEX) that former Mudbug forward Kevin Cooper will be joining the team soon. Cooper, 28, is in his sixth pro season. Over the past two seasons with the Mudbugs, he scored 89 points (43 G, 46 A, +24) in 93 games. Half of his 16 goals last season came on the power play.
