Deitsch suspended for two games

League rules on alleged hit on Wichita's Robinson

Brahmas captain Jason Deitsch was assessed a two game suspension by the Central Hockey League due to what the league called "an illegal hit to the head" on Wichita's Matt Robinson.

The Brahmas reviewed the video of the game and believe that the evidence is inconclusive. An appeal is being lodged with the hope that the suspension will be reduced to one game, but it is doubtful the league will consider a reduction.

Deitsch will miss Wednesday night's game against Wichita and Friday night's game against Allen, both on the road.
