Youngclaus waived

Wildfong continues roster re-do with 25 regular season games remaining


The Texas Brahmas have waived defenseman Phil Youngclaus, Pointstreak confirmed today. Youngclaus, 27, contributed two assists and 12 penalty minutes in 18 games with the team this season.

The Methuen, Massachusetts native signed with the club on December 21st, when the Brahmas had three blue liners on IR (Dudas, Saunders and Hurley). He is the fourth defenseman to be removed from the roster this season. Former team caprain Craig Minard was waived on October 20th, Kevin Kraus was waived on November 6th and Steven Later's rights were traded to Missouri on Sunday.

George Bradley was added to the roster on Monday, completing a trade with the Evansville Icemen.
