Meet the newest Texas BrahmaGoaltender Cody Daniel signs five-game contract
The Texas Brahmas signed 23-year-old goaltender Cody Daniel to a five-game contract today according to Pointstreak.com. Daniel will be on the bench as a relief goalie. He traveled with the team last night to Odessa.
Daniel was signed as an emergency goaltender with the Mississippi RiverKings, replacing Larry Sterling last season, but was placed on waivers when they signed former Mudbugs goalie Adam Hanna in November 2007.
He serves a goalie coach for the Dallas Scots Hockey Association.
The 6', 1" goaltender played Junior B Hockey with the Dallas Titans and Junior A with the Central Texas Marshalls.
