Champions of the Southeast!

Texas Brahmas clinch with Laredo Bucks loss
The Texas Brahmas have clinched the Southeast Division title thanks to a loss today by the Laredo Bucks. The Bucks, who won the title the past five seasons in a row, were beaten at home by a score of 4-1 today by the Corpus Christi Ice Rays. The IceRays have now beaten the Bucks in four of the last five and three of four at the LEC.

The Brahmas, with last nights 5-3 win over the Odessa Jackalopes, now have a nine point lead over the Jacks for the Southern Conference title.

The Mississippi RiverKings' eleven game winning streak was halted today with a loss to the Jackalopes. The Brahmas, with a win on Tuesday night against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs can overtake both the RiverKings and the Colorado Eagles for the lead in the Governor's Cup race. The Governor's Cup guarantees home ice throughout the playoffs which would be huge for the Brahmas, who haven't seen a home loss since December 26th.

Congratulations to the entire Brahmas organization but notably Dan Wildfong, the players and of course, the fans!
