Texas Brahmas in CHL 2008-09 Best of the Best poll

The Central Hockey League released the results of the annual ‘Best of the Best’ poll as voted on by CHL players, coaches and operational staff from all 16 CHL teams.

The poll consists of 46 categories ranging from ‘Best Overall Player’ to ‘Best Booster Club’. Each team provided three top choices for each category, with first place votes counting as five points, second place votes counting as three points and third place votes counting as one point.

While most of the top results went to the league darling Colorado Eagles, the Brahmas received the following (honorable mentions):

Best Skater: 2nd Place for Justin Kinnunen

Best Goaltender: 3rd Place for Brett Jaeger

Best Offensive Defenseman: 2nd Place for Justin Kinnunen

Most Gentlemanly Player: 3rd Place for Craig Minard

Most Annoying Fans: 2nd Place for the Texas Brahmas

Toughest Building to Win In: 2nd Place for the NYTEX Sports Centre
