Texas Brahmas clinch the Southern Conference

Rio Grande Valley win delivers the title

The Texas Brahmas clinched the #1 seed in the Southern Conference tonight and will have home ice advantage throughout the South’s playoffs, thanks to an exciting 6-4 come-from-behind win by the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees over the Odessa Jackalopes. In addition, the Mississippi RiverKings lost to the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs tonight, keeping the Governor's Cup very much within reach.

The Brahmas have three games left in the regular season including Wednesday and Thursday's matches against the Laredo Bucks at the Laredo Entertainment Center. The final contest will be against the Killer Bees at the Dodge Center in Hidalgo.

The first two games of the Southern Conference Semi-Finals will be played Saturday, March 28th at 7:05 PM and Sunday, March 29th at 3:05 PM.
