Scott Sheppard recalled to the AHL

Will join the Rockford IceHogs for their game against the Houston Aeros

Texas Brahmas forward Scott Sheppard was recalled today to the Rockford IceHogs, the AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Sheppard is traveling to Houston to play in today's game versus the Houston Aeros at the Toyota Center. According to Brahmas management, Sheppard will return to the Brahmas after this game.

The IceHogs (33-28-0, 72 points) are currently tied for 4th place with the Peoria Rivermen in the Western Conference's West Division.

The 5', 11", 200-pound native of Selkirk Ontario is the leading scorer for the Brahmas this season with 63 points (31 G, 32 A) and 75 penalty minutes. He has a +17 rating. Sheppard has tallied 14 powerplay goals, 17 powerplay assists and 6 game winning goals this season.
