Jordan Cameron Named Sher-Wood/Central Hockey League Player of the Month

Brahmas scoring leader recognized for outstanding play in December

Cameron had points in 10 of the 13 games he played in the month and was a plus or even in every contest. He finished with nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points, while also registering a game winning goal and two shorthanded goals. The Drayton Valley, Alberta native was very strong in the second half of the month recording six multiple-point games in his last eight played. For the season, the 6-1, 227-pound forward has 28 points (12 G, 16 A) in 21 games and is tied for the team lead with a +10 plus/minus rating.

"This is an honor for Jordan, he has been playing very well, working hard and is a large factor to our success," said head coach Dan Wildfong. "It is great to see him get the recognition."

Last season, Cameron led the Brahmas in scoring in the regular season with 64 points (30 G, 34 A) in 57 games.
