The Texas Brahmas have placed back-up goaltender Adam Avramenko on waivers, according to Pointstreak. At long last, the team is expected to announce his replacement tomorrow.
Avramenko signed with the Brahmas on January 30th, following the abrupt departure of Steve Silverthorn. He played 61:43 in two road games at Laredo on February 1st and 3rd and allowed a total of seven goals past him before he was benched permanently with a 6.89 GAA and a .774 Save Percentage.
With just nine games remaining in the regular season, Brahmas fans have been waiting to see who will back up Mark Guggenberger as the team heads into the playoffs. It appears the wait is over and we should see the newest member of the purple and black tomorrow.
