Guggenberger, Woollard, Brahmas fans, NYTEX honored in CHL's "Best of the Best"

Most annoying fans for second year in a row

The Texas Brahmas, darlings of the Central Hockey League (not) have once again been all but ignored in the league's 2012 Best of the Best poll. Well, not really.

Mark Guggenberger was named Most Valuable to His Team and Best Goaltender, adding to his list of accolades in what has been a remarkable rookie season. Guggenberger came in second for Best Goaltender in Shootouts to Wichita's Adam Russo and second for Best Rookie, behind Quad Cities' Jared Brown.

Chad Woollard was named Hardest Shooter and came in third as Best Power Forward behind Allen's Bruce Graham and Missouri's Andrew Courtney.

For the second year in a row, the Texas Brahmas' faithful were named Most Annoying Fans and the NYTEX Sports Centre was named Toughest Building to Win In (for an opposing team, that is). The Brahmas also came in third for Best PA Announcer.

'Nuff said.
