The Texas Brahmas have placed second-year forward on waivers, according to Pointstreak. Moran, 24, signed with the Purple and Black on January 6th and played 22 games, contributing seven points (2 G, 5 A, +5) and 19 Penalty Minutes. He had the game-winning goal in the 4-3 home shootout win against the Allen Americans on February 10th.
The Buffalo, New York native played 20 games with the Brahmas last season after being cut by the Wichita Thunder. In 20 games with Texas, Moran tallied 18 points (9 G, 9 A, +6) and eight PIM.
The Brahmas are in the process of finalizing their playoff roster and a few more transactions will be announced during the course of the next week.
