Texas Brahmas Insider photos surpass milestone

The Texas Brahmas Flickr has surpassed 500, 000 image views (509,748 as of this post) since the first of 31,064 photos were uploaded in April, 2008.

The most popular image (above) has been viewed 227 times. The photo shows Jordan Cameron coming to the aid of teammate James Hiebert during the pre-game warm ups on December 9, 2009, when several members of the Allen Americans jumped Hiebert in retaliation for his collision with then Americans goalie Charlie Effinger at a previous game at the Allen Event Center.

In fact, six of the top 10 shots viewed were from that set - photos that almost didn't get taken as I arrived late to the rink just as the melee began. Many of the images were shot from the lobby of the NYTEX Sports Centre.
