- Former Texas Brahma Blair Manning was placed on waivers by the Rapid City Rush today. Manning had a rough 13 games with the expansion team, notching only five assists and 14 penalty minutes. Manning scored 63 points (11 G, 52 A) in 64 regular season games with the Brahmas last season
- Brahmas forward Topher Scott has been activated from leave by the league
- Forwards Matt Burto and Pete Rouleau have been placed on 14-day Injured Reserve
- Friday night's game against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will feature a Teedy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to toss onto the ice following the Brahmas' first goal. The toys will be donated to the Community Enrichment Center in North Richland Hills.
- Saturday night's game against the Laredo Bucks is Capital One Puck Night. The first 2,000 fans will receive a free Texas Brahmas hockey puck.
- After the game on Saturday, join the Texas Brahmas and The Zach Edwards Band at Bronco's Sports Bar, located in Hurst, TX (900 Airport Fwy #166). Former Brahmas equipment manager Sparky Sorenson is the drummer of the popular country band.
