Here we go again!

Texas Brahmas host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs

The Texas Brahmas host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs tonight at the NYTEX Sports Centre for the sixth game of the I-20 series. The Brahmas have won eight of the the last nine meetings between the two clubs.

The Brahmas are coming off of a road loss against the Tulsa Oilers and the Mudbugs defeated the Wichita Thunder by a score of 1-0 at the CenturyTel Center last night.

The Brahmas embarrassed the Bugs at their last meeting with a 5-1 victory on the Bugs' home ice. Coach Scott Muscutt was not very happy (understatement) with his club after the loss and held a prolonged team meeting after the game.

"You're never supposed to have an off night when you're a Mudbug," Muscutt told the Shreveport Times' Kelly Morris. "You take every game to heart. When you don't play well and you get beat in your own building, it hits home."

If the Bugs are bound for a win over the bulls, it should be tonight. The Two teams won't meet here again until March. If they don't get a win, I'd hate to be in their locker room after the game. But I might just put my ear up to the door.

Don't forget it's teddy bear toss night. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to toss onto the ice following the Brahmas' first goal. The toys will be donated to the Community Enrichment Center in North Richland Hills.

The game starts at 7:05pm and can be seen on Nifty-TV.
